TP-Link TL-SG1005P 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+ 65W
Product Features
The TP-Link TL-SG1005P is a 5-port Gigabit desktop switch designed to provide wired network connectivity along with Power over Ethernet for compatible devices. It features five 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports, including four dedicated PoE+ ports for connecting and powering supported network equipment.
The switch complies with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards and supports up to 30W of power on each PoE port. A total PoE power budget of 65W allows compatible IP cameras, access points, IP phones and other powered devices to receive network data and electrical power through Ethernet cabling.
PoE Auto Recovery can automatically detect compatible powered devices such as cameras and access points when they become unresponsive or go offline. The switch can reboot the affected PoE device without requiring manual power cycling.
Extend Mode is designed for installations requiring longer PoE transmission distances. When enabled, the supported PoE transmission distance can reach up to 820 feet, making the switch suitable for compatible IP camera installations across larger areas.
Intelligent Power Management helps protect the network from PoE power overload. If the available PoE power budget is exceeded, the switch can cut power to lower-priority ports. Automatic powered-device detection also distinguishes between compatible PoE and non-PoE equipment and supplies power accordingly.
The TL-SG1005P supports QoS functionality for prioritizing selected network traffic such as voice and video applications. IGMP Snooping is also supported to optimize multimedia traffic delivery for applications including IPTV.
A durable metal casing protects the internal components during regular operation. With plug-and-play functionality, the TL-SG1005P can be deployed with compatible IP cameras, IP phones, Omada EAP access points, computers, printers and other Ethernet devices without requiring complex configuration.
