Premium Line 12-Core Outdoor Steel Armoured Single-Mode Fiber Optic Cable 9/125µm PE
Product Overview
The Premium Line 12-Core Outdoor Steel Armoured Fiber Optic Cable is designed for reliable optical data transmission in outdoor telecommunications, enterprise, campus, surveillance and structured fiber network installations.
The cable contains 12 single-mode 9/125µm optical fibers, providing multiple fiber connections within one cable for network backbone links, building-to-building connectivity, telecommunications infrastructure and future network expansion.
The 250µm optical fibers are positioned inside a loose tube manufactured from high-modulus plastic. The loose tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound to provide additional protection against moisture and environmental exposure.
The tube is wrapped with a layer of corrugated steel tape. Water-blocking material is applied between the corrugated steel tape and loose tube to keep the cable compact and watertight.
Two parallel steel wires are positioned on both sides of the corrugated steel tape. These steel-wire strength members provide additional tensile strength and help protect the optical fibers against pulling forces during installation.
The cable is completed with a durable polyethylene outer sheath suitable for outdoor installations. It can be installed through direct burial, aerial routes or underground ducts, depending on project requirements.
This cable is supplied and priced per meter, allowing customers and installers to order the required cable length according to the project route and installation requirements.
