The KODAK S3100f is a compact and versatile A3 document scanner designed for high-volume departmental and enterprise scanning. It combines a high-capacity automatic document feeder, an integrated A4 flatbed and flexible paper-path options within a single scanning system.
The scanner delivers throughput speeds of up to 100 pages per minute and 200 images per minute. Its recommended daily volume of up to 45,000 pages supports demanding document-capture workflows in offices, government departments, financial institutions and records-management environments.
A 300-sheet automatic document feeder allows large document batches to be processed with fewer paper-loading interruptions. The feeder supports paper weights ranging from 27 to 433 g/m², enabling it to handle lightweight sheets, standard office documents and thicker media.
The automatic document feeder supports documents measuring up to 305 mm wide and 4.06 metres long. Continuous cropping mode can also be used to scan documents of unlimited length.
An integrated A4 flatbed supports documents measuring up to 220.7 × 304.8 mm. It can be used to capture books, passports, identification documents, photographs, fragile originals and other material unsuitable for an automatic document feeder.
The straight-through rear paper path supports thick, delicate and exceptionally long documents that require a flatter route through the scanner. Documents can also be directed to the standard front output tray for regular batch scanning.
SurePath intelligent document feed technology combines controlled stacking, enhanced jam recovery, Intelligent Document Protection, length-based multifeed detection, ultrasonic multifeed technology and interactive operator controls.
