Avision AD8120U High-Volume A3 Production Scanner
The Avision AD8120U is a high-volume A3 production scanner designed for organisations that process extremely large quantities of documents. It scans colour, grayscale and monochrome documents at up to 120 ppm and 240 ipm, helping teams complete demanding digitisation projects efficiently.
Its extra-large 500-sheet automatic document feeder and USB 3.2 connectivity make the AD8120U suitable for dedicated production scanning workstations. It is an excellent choice for banks, government departments, service bureaus, educational institutions, healthcare organisations and large businesses in Pakistan.
High-Speed Duplex Production Scanning
The AD8120U captures both sides of a document in a single pass at up to 120 ppm and 240 ipm. It maintains this performance in black-and-white and colour at both 200 dpi and 300 dpi, providing consistent throughput for intensive scanning projects.
Extra-Large 500-Sheet ADF
The robust 500-sheet automatic document feeder reduces the need to reload paper during large scanning jobs. Combined with a recommended daily volume of up to 100,000 pages, it provides the capacity required for centralised scanning departments and continuous production workflows.
A3 Document and Card Support
The scanner accepts documents up to 308 x 432 mm (A3). Its straight paper path handles media from 20 to 413 g/m², while the U-turn path supports paper weights from 20 to 210 g/m². Embossed plastic cards up to 1.25 mm thick can also be scanned.
Reliable Feeding and Paper Protection
Paper-protection technology and triple ultrasonic double-feed detection help identify feeding problems, overlapping sheets and potential paper damage. These features improve feeding reliability and reduce the risk of missing pages during critical scanning jobs.
Long-Paper Scanning and USB Connectivity
Long-paper mode supports documents up to 240 inches at 200 dpi, 218 inches at 300 dpi and 59 inches at 600 dpi. USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 provides fast direct connectivity to a compatible production workstation.
Scanned documents can be saved in popular formats including PDF, JPEG, TIFF, Word, Excel, RTF, XPS and HTML.
