The KODAK S3100 is a compact high-speed A3 document scanner designed for demanding document digitization, archival and business scanning environments. It combines a straight-through paper path, high-speed scanning and network connectivity in a professional document scanning platform.
With throughput speeds of up to 100 pages per minute (ppm) and 200 images per minute (ipm), the S3100 is designed for high-volume document processing. Its recommended daily scanning volume is up to 45,000 pages, making it suitable for organizations with substantial document workflows.
The 300-sheet automatic document feeder supports paper weighing from 27 to 433 g/m² and handles documents ranging from small sheets to exceptionally long documents. The straight-through paper path can accommodate documents up to 305 mm × 4.06 m.
SurePath intelligent document feed technology provides controlled stacking, enhanced jam recovery, Intelligent Document Protection, ultrasonic multifeed detection, interactive multifeed detection with image display and Length Multifeed Detection. Continuous scanning and cropping modes support extended document workflows.
Dual RGB LED illumination CIS technology provides up to 600 dpi optical resolution and image output of up to 1200 dpi. The scanner supports 24-bit color output, 8-bit grayscale output and 48-bit color capture for detailed document imaging.
Connectivity includes USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 with USB 2.0 compatibility and 10/100/1000 Ethernet. Network configuration supports DHCP or static IP addressing and TCP/IP, allowing the scanner to be integrated into wired office networks.
